Now, my recent screening of
Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein” wasn’t exactly witnessed under ideal conditions.
It was queued up for our family’s New Year’s Eve festivities. While much of the
family enjoys playing cards all night, I’m not one for cards much. So I
generally draw kids watch. Which gave me a good amount of time to watch most of
the movie, since most of the kids are at ages where they watch themselves, but
there were some incidents that pulled me away. So I think any in depth analysis
should really wait for a proper screening. This time all I have to say is…
“Frau Blücher!”
