“The Lego Movie” is easily one of my favorite films of the year so far. I’m not saying anything new with that, however, as it seems to be a phrase that finds its way off the lips of just about anyone who sees it. It’s good enough, I’d place it in the top three so far.

It’s one of those movies where you can watch it multiple times and see new things each time. You could even spend a screening just watching what’s happening in the backgrounds of every shot. There are so many hidden jokes and Easter eggs in this movie, it might be able to inspire a whole study on it. Trust me; watch what’s happening in the background of each scene.

Anyway, the movie’s great. If you don’t think so, you need to get yourself a sense of humor. Read my original review here.
